Monsignor Wall Social Service Center (MWC) is an outpatient Methadone and Suboxone
Maintenance and detoxification program that has been in operation since 1971 providing outpatient
care to adult men and women who are opiate addicted. As part of its compendium of treatment services,
MWC provides specialized services to women who are pregnant, HIV positive individuals and individuals
that are involved in the criminal justice system.
MWC provides a medically monitored treatment regimen; individual and group counseling; gender-specific
groups for women; testing, counseling and referral (when applicable) for pregnant women; counseling for
HIV; education about opioid addiction; education about Methadone and Suboxone; family and couples
counseling and 12-step education. Case management and referral services are provided for addiction
recovery (when applicable), housing, employment, primary healthcare and mental health problems.
