receive as a gift from the

Straight and Narrow, the
Alcoholics Anonymous
(AA) Big book or the
Narcotics Anonymous (NA)
Basic text as a resource
for clients at Straight and
Narrow. A third publica tion,“The
Twelve
Steps Unplugged,” which is geared to a younger population was
presented
to the clients in the residential adolescent program.
Founded in 1954,
Straight
and Narrow in Paterson is the largest comprehensive alcohol and other
drugs
of abuse treatment agency in the state. These books were purchased from
donations.
Duffy
indicated that Straight and Narrow will rely on future donations to
replenish
the supply of these books and other 12 step resource materials. He also
asks
that anyone with gently used NA or AA 12 step materials can donate them by
calling
the pastoral care and development office
at (973) 345-6000 ext. 6213.
