Client Activities at S&N

In addition to the every day treatment that takes place at Straight & Narrow, a Client Activities Committee tries to schedule activities that can add to the clients treatment and experience. The committee sponsors Karaoke nights and talent shows through out the year. Speakers such as Dr. Gloria Bozeman, Assemblywomen Elease Evans, and Congressmen William Pascrell speak to the clients. The committee has also been able to procure tickets to shows at The Barn Theater, Chatham Theatre and Papermill Playhouse. They have also received tickets to various sporting events including Rutgers and Princeton football games, Rutgers, Princeton, Seton Hall and Caldwell College basketball games. The committee produces many activities for holiday weekends, e.g. tournaments, recovery Jeopardy, speakers from Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, basketball, softball and Family Day, just to name a few. There are A.A. and N.A. meetings held for each unit on a weekly basis.
